Concierge Home Detox

Spearhead Health offers you the ability to detox from addictive substances in the comfort of your home or a desirable private location.

Our team of nurses, care managers, and board-certified addiction medicine doctors are here to help you through this process.

Oftentimes, detoxification is the first step in the recovery process for someone struggling with an addiction to drugs or alcohol. Depending on the substance the person is detoxing from, there are certain associated risks that come with each particular substance. It is important that the detox process is handled by appropriate medical staff in order to provide safety and a sense of comfort during a time that can be challenging and scary for the person experiencing symptoms of withdrawal and removal of the particular substance that has been abused.

Types of Detox

  • Opiate/Opioid Addiction
  • Meth Addiction
  • Alcohol Addiction
  • Cocaine Addiction
  • Benzodiazepine Addiction

Why Detox At Home?

There are many benefits to detoxing at home. We are able to get a true glimpse into the environment in which the individual detoxing typically spends their time. As a result, this gives us a unique opportunity to provide solutions and gain insight that may otherwise be overlooked at a traditional inpatient setting. This has proven to be very helpful when developing long-term after care plans.

Additionally, it is often found that privacy while going through the detox process is more comfortable and preferred. For the person that cannot go into a facility due to outside obligations or simply prefers to remain private, this option provides you a solution.

How It Works

Our process starts with an intake assessment with one of our nurses or care managers. This assessment will be used for the rest of the team to determine whether or not detoxing at home is safe and appropriate for you or your loved one. After having had an opportunity to communicate with our doctor and nursing team, we can begin to put a plan of action in place.

Once we have confirmed a plan and our team is in place at the location where the detox will happen, you can expect the following:

  • A private nurse overseeing medications, vitals, nutrition, and sleep patterns
  • Continuous CIWA’s and or COW’s assessments
  • A consultation with the doctor to determine the appropriate medication regimen
  • Labs to be performed if deemed necessary
  • 24/7 recovery companion
  • A medical doctor overseeing the entire detox process
  • 5-10 days of medication tapers and monitoring
  • Your own team dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable detox
